F E A T U R I N G:

These canopy systems were specifically designed and engineered for conventional military operations. This round canopy is similar to those pictured. The actual specs are;

  • The MC1-1 Parachute Canopy #11-1-900 allows soldiers to steer towards specific impact points on the drop zone in winds up to 13 knots. It is capable of supporting up to 360 lbs. The MC1 parachute consists of a parabolic-shaped canopy with 60 sq ft of canopy removed and steering gear attached which allows the parachute to rotate 360 degrees in either direction in about 8 seconds. These canopies are 35 ft in diameter and constructed of CG483 green ripstop nylon. Normal 400 lb test suspension line lengths of 22-25 feet have been used. Descent rates vary from 16-20 fps.
    The MC1 Troop parachute has been used for static line airdropping of personnel from as low as 500 feet MSL.
  • The canopy has a nominal diameter of 35 feet and a projected or inflated diameter of 25.7 feet.

    The canopy has no rips, worn spots or holes. The color is dark green.
  • Included with this auction is a full set of lines including Risers, full Capewell releases and Harness. That's everything from the chute down to and including the harness. These line sets with the upper half of the Capewell releases are extremely rare as the military re-uses them and they don't often get released.
  • These lines are de-milled. That means that the lines have been cut just under the canopy. But, everything is included and the lines can be re-attached simply by a licensed chute rigger.

This is a military surplus item in good condition with no warranty or suggestion about suitability for any specific purpose. Buyer accepts full responsibility for use.  

    These canopies have over 950 square feet of excellent parachute nylon material that can be used as Racing parachutes by removing gores until the X pattern is the right size for your car. Great material for Rocket parachutes, kids tents or car covers. makes one HUGE 35' Diameter shade canopy or attention getter by inflating with a big air blower, i.e. Stake several lines to the ground and point a BIG air blower up in the center.

All auction items including packing & shipping charges are to be prepaid before shipment, no later than 15 days after close of auction.

We accept Postal money orders, cashier's checks, company checks. PayPal is accepted but governed by PayPal policies.

Weestern Union has worked well for International Payments. Bidder is responsible for all International Tariff, border fees, etc.

We reserve the right to hold shipments paid by company or personal checks until checks clear.

If you attempt to use a Paypal "PAY" button to pay for your purchase, but the quantity, amount, or some other detail
is incorrect, no problem. This happens occasionally when there is a part of the transaction that the Paypal button or invoice

We will ship to foreign addresses, but not to all countries. Contact us for terms before bidding if you will desire foreign shipping. The US Postal Service no longer accepts foreign Parcel Post / Economy packages. Boxes must go via International Priority Mail. This is a much more expensive option than we had in 2006. Plan accordingly. Local pickup is available on most items. Most shipped items will be packed using bubble wrap and or foam.
Heavy items will be packed using double boxes and or foam wall to insure safe delivery. Packing will be invoiced at cost. Shipping is NOT a profit center for us. We do everything in our power to package and ship per your instructions. Our responsibility ends when we deliver a package to the shipper. We will do everything in our power to process damage/loss claims for you, however, we act only as your agent in matters pertaining to transportation. A packing slip will be provided with every shipment. We use USPS Mail, FEDEX or UPS at your discretion. Insurance is available, but you MUST request it before payment.
It is your responsibility to check the unit immediately upon delivery for transportation damage. Should you receive the shipment with damage it will be your responsibility to handle the claim with the shipper. In such a case, please retain all packing material and notify the carrier immediately.

    - We do not do any testing to determine operational status due to lack of accessories, manuals or knowledge.
    - Man hours for testing would exceed expected sales price.

While we do our utmost to provide an unbiased and accurate description about the condition of the unit, your assessment of the condition or appearance may be different.
